Principal’s Message – April 12, 2017

Dear Resurrection Regional Families,

After considerable thought and with mixed feelings I have informed Father Howarth and the Office of Catholic Education of my intention to retire effective June 30, 2017. After 47 years as a Catholic educator, it is time to embark on the next phase of my life. It is bittersweet in many ways but I look forward to more time with family and friends and opportunities to engage in leisure activities.

In May of 2009, I accepted the opportunity to come to Resurrection as the Principal. It has been a wonderful professional experience and I can’t believe that 8 years have flown by. This has been my second home. We have learned many lessons over the years but the most important is that Resurrection Regional is a faith filled community filled with wonderful students and blessed by a dedicated staff who takes pride in a learning community that is warm and nurturing for these students. I am confident that the Resurrection Regional staff will continue to work tirelessly for the children in the years to come. I am proud of what we have accomplished and it has been a privilege and honor to have served as the principal at Resurrection Regional.

While I am still principal, I will continue to work hard to support the students, staff and Resurrection Regional families as you transition to a new leader. Thank you for your commitment and support to Resurrection Regional. I am proud of what we have accomplished as a school community. I will always treasure my fond memories of the many students and families I have come to know, the friendships and staff of Resurrection Regional and all of the professionals of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

I’m asking that you remember me in your prayers as you will constantly be in mine.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Joan Stulz
